What are library databases

How to use the databases

EBSCOhost is a collection of databases that provide mostly fulltext access to journal and newspaper articles, ebooks, conference papers, theses and other publications. Once you have logged into EBSCO select the EBSCOhost database(s) most useful to your task to find credible information, not freely available through a general internet search, relevant to your research task.

How to search the EBSCO databases

EBSCO has a comprehensive range of online tutorials to guide you through the use of their databases. To get started watch this tutorial on how to conduct a basic search of the EBSCO databases.

To access JSTOR login to the ersources page of SLNSW using your State Library     Readers Card.

State Library of NSW - SLNSW

The State Library of New South Wales, like all NSW public libraries, is free to join. You can register for a SLNSW library card online . Your new library card can be collected from the Library in Macquarie Street or posted to you. SLNSW is a reference library, and, as one of its services provides access to a comprehensive list of online databases and eresources to members.
